Who I Am
I'm Rami Sam, a marketing student at San Diego State University graduating in May 2026. I'm based in San Diego, CA and drawn to the intersection of data and creativity — where a smart insight meets a story worth telling.
Over the past two years I've gained real-world experience through internships in social media and brand communications, worked on live client briefs through my university's marketing lab, and built campaigns from the ground up inside and outside the classroom.
I'm looking for a full-time role where I can contribute from day one, keep learning fast, and help a brand grow.
Experience & Projects
Managed Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn content calendars at BrightPulse Creative. Created graphics in Canva, drafted copy, tracked engagement metrics, and contributed to a campaign that grew followers 22% in 10 weeks.
Supported brand communications at Harbor & Co — drafting press releases, newsletters, and blog content. Contributed to a brand refresh that updated the company's tone-of-voice guidelines.
Led a 4-person team to develop a full go-to-market plan for a real local startup. Delivered market research, customer personas, channel strategy, and a 90-day launch roadmap — presented to the founders and a faculty panel.
Designed a full integrated campaign covering paid social, OOH, influencer outreach, and email sequences. Built creative mockups in Figma and presented a complete media plan with budget allocation. Awarded best in class.
Built and grew a niche blog from scratch to practice content marketing and SEO. Wrote 20+ long-form posts, performed keyword research with Ubersuggest, and grew organic traffic to 1,200 monthly visitors in 6 months — while in school.
Built a local nonprofit's first email marketing program through the university's Marketing Lab. Set up Mailchimp, designed a welcome sequence, and created a monthly newsletter template. Open rate hit 38% within 3 sends.
